A Százéves Étterem épületét 1755-től építették egy serfőző főcéhmester háza helyére. Az épület a pesti barokk világi építészet szinte egyetlen emléke. 1831-ben Buda Városához cégérezték a Hasslinger-féle fogadót, és azóta megszakítás nélkül vendéglátó üzlet működik az épületben. 1864-től 1941-ig a Kriszt család generációi vezették, kezdetben Fehér Hajó, majd Kriszt néven, 1923-tól ismét Buda Városához cégérezték. 1931-ben vette fel a Százéves nevet. Egy kicsi barokk palota aljában, a Március 15 tér-Galamb utca-Piarista utca sarkán található. Az étterem belső terének részletét ábrázoló fotó az esedékes felújítás kapcsán 1983-ban készült.

From 1755, the building of the Hundred-Year-Old Restaurant was built by János Péterffy, a judge of the court, on the site of the house of Jakab Proberger, the head guildmaster of the first guild of the Pest brewers. The building is practically the only surviving example of secular Baroque architecture in Pest. According to tradition, there was already a restaurant here at the end of the 18th century. In 1831, Hasslinger's Inn was dedicated to the City of Buda, and since then a catering unit has been in continuous operation there. From 1864 to 1941, it was run by three generations of the Kriszt family, initially under the name of Fehér Hajó (White Ship), then Kriszt. From 1923, it was again called "to the City of Buda". The inn and restaurant enjoyed its heyday when the weekly market was located on the old Városház (City Hall) Square in front of it. It was frequented by market vendors during the day and by the city's distinguished lords and citizens in the evening. At the centenary of 1931, it took the "Hundred-Year-Old" name and a memorial plaque was unveiled to mark the anniversary. It is located at the bottom of a small baroque palace at the corner of Március 15 Square - Galamb Street - Piarista Street.
