Mint minden európai nagyvárosban, Debrecenben is számos hajléktalan él. A társadalmi kirekesztés, amely osztályrészül jut nekik, sokunk számára elfogadhatatlan. Nyilvánvaló, hogy a perifériára szorult emberek sanyarú helyzetét önmagában sem az állami és önkormányzati intézmények, sem a civil, karitatív szervezetek áldozatos tevékenysége nem képes megváltoztatni.

In the frame of 2010 European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, MODEM Centre for Modern and Contemporary Arts and ReFoMix Public Benefit Ltd. in collaboration with Projekt UDENFOR opened the exhibition from the 13 sculptures, portraying homeless people, by Jens Galschiøt, Danish artist. Thus building bridges between the social and artistic wings, FEANTSA and Projekt UDENFOR with an international collaboration opened the first exhibition in the European Parliament. After their presentation in Debrecen the artworks of ill-fated people will travel through Europe.
