A bronz mellszobrot közadakozásból állították fel 1900. október 7-én a Népkert Szőnyi utcai bejáratánál, az akkor még fennálló Nyári Színkör előtt. 1978-ban került a Nyizsnyay Gusztáv utca és Zrínyi utca sarkára. A felvétel az 1920-as, 1930-as években készült a Népkertben.

The bronze bust was posted owing to public subscription at the entrance of the Folk Garden (in Szőnyi Street) in front of Nyári Színkör that still existed then on 7 October in 1900. It was moved to the corner of Nyizsnyay Gusztáv Street and Zrínyi Street in 1978. The photo was taken in the Folk Garden in the 1920s, 1930s.
