Postcard - A park in Zsóry Bath in Mezőkövesd, 1970. Thermal water came to the surface in 1939 during the drillings on the estate of Chief Servant Judge Lajos Zsóry near Mezőkövesd. Although the spa’s first thermal pool was opened in 1940, the real development began in 1964, embodied in continuous improvements in the 1970s. It received the medicinal water certification in 1968 and was awarded spa status in 1983.
