Előpatak vasas-szénsavas gyógyvizeiről híres település (Őskút). Már az 1770-es években megkezdődött a fürdőtelep kiépítése. Töretlen fejlődésének a második világháború vetett véget. Fénykora a dualista állam időszakára tehető. A 2010-es években a Borvizek Útja program részeként egy modern kezelőközpontot építettek fel (2014.?). Sepsiszentgyörgytől nem messze, nyugatra fekszik Romániában, de a képeslap kiadása idején még Magyarországhoz tartozott.

Photo taken from a postcard. The picture shows the multi-storey building of the Bogdán villa. The villa stood in the immediate vicinity of the Principal's Well (Main Well) pavilion. The village of Előpatak is famous for its iron-containing and carbonic thermal waters (Őskút). Already in the 1770s, the construction of the spa began. Its continuous development was brought to an end by the Second World War. Its heyday dates back to the period of the dualist state (Austria-Hungary). In the 2010s, a modern treatment centre was built as part of the Wine Waters Route programme (2014?). It is located not far west of Sepsiszentgyörgy (Sfântu Gheorghe) in Romania, but at the time of publishing of the postcard it was still part of Hungary.
