A képen a Centrum Áruházak jubileumi kiállítása a "40 év szinkronban az idővel " címmel 1988. október 19-én nyílt meg a Divatcsarnok Lotz-termében. A "Régi áruház" rész a Magyar Kereskedelmi és Vendéglátóipari Múzeum közreműködésével valósult meg. A baloldalon a 88-ban még újdonságnak számító műholdvevőt hirdető plakát, jobbra a bemutatóvitrinben híradástechnikai eszközök, szórakoztató elektronika, háztartási eszközök, porcelán- és üvegáru látható.

The jubilee exhibition of Centrum Stores entitled "40 Years in Sync with Time" opened on 19 October, 1988 in the Lotz Hall of the Fashion Hall. The "Old Store" part was realized with the participation of the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism. On the left, there is a poster advertising the satellite receiver, which was still a novelty in 1988, and on the right in the display case, there are telecommunication devices, consumer electronics, household appliances, porcelain and glassware.
