The artwork reproduced on the front and back covers is by Tom Schwalbach of Shorewood. The hand-tinted prints of Milwaukee and Fish Creek appearing on the front cover, and Spring Green, Sturgeon Bay, and Lake Geneva on the back cover, are from the artist's "main Street Wisconsin" series. Mr. Schwalbach's work was selected in the Wisconsin Blue Book cover competition administered by the Wisconsin Arts Board, and he was awarded cash prize for his winning entry.
