Az aggteleki-hegységi földtani térképező munkák során a Szinpetritől nyugatra eső Almás-völgy tiroliteses márga rétegeiből az alsó-triász felső olenyoki emelet zónajelző Tirolites cassianus egy példánya került elő. Az alábbi rövid közlemény e leletet és rétegtani jelentőségét ismerteti.
