A Tuba Zoltán által szervezett botanikai gyűjtőmunka a Bodrogközben 1982 és 1983 között volt. Farkas Edit 35 zuzmó faj 76 mintáját gyűjtötte be. Továbbá Tuba Zoltán begyűjtött még 12 további példányt, köztük 3 további fajt az utóbbi időben. 38 fajból 19 új volt a vizsgált területen. Ezek az adatok azt jelentik, hogy a tanulmány sokban hozzájárul a Bodrogközi terület zuzmó flórájához, mivel együtt az irodalomban és a herbárium adatai alapján 59 faj volt ismert a területen eddig. 18 faj nem volt ismeretes a korábbi gyűjtemények és a régi irodalmi források számára sem. A leggyakoribb fajok a következők: Amandinea punctata, Hypogymnia physodes, Lecanora carpinea, L. symmicta, Parmelia sulcata, Physcia adscendens, Scoliciosporum chlorococcum, Xanthoria parietina. Ritka magyar zuzmó flóra fajokat gyűjtöttek itt például, Hypogymnia farinacea, Lecania cyrtella, Normandina pulchella, Trapeliopsis flexuosa.

From the botanical collecting trips to the Bodrogköz, Notheast Hungary, organised by Zoltán Tuba in 1982–1983, Edit Farkas collected 76 specimens of 35 lichen species. Furthermore Zoltán Tuba collected 12 additional specimens, among them 3 further species recently. From the 38 species 19 are new to the investigated area. These data represent valuable contributions to the lichen flora of the Bodrogköz area, since together with other literature and herbarium data 59 species are known from the area so far. 18 species are only known from earlier collections or old literature sources. The most frequent species now are as follows: Amandinea punctata, Hypogymnia physodes, Lecanora carpinea, L. symmicta, Parmelia sulcata, Physcia adscendens, Scoliciosporum chlorococcum, Xanthoria parietina. Rare species of the Hungarian lichen flora (e.g., Hypogymnia farinacea, Lecania cyrtella, Normandina pulchella, Trapeliopsis flexuosa) were also collected here.
