A hagyományokat őrizni kell, nem ápolni, nem betegek és nem rabok – hívta fel a figyelmet Beszprémy Katalin pénteken az Ifjú Kézművesek X. Országos Kiállításának megnyitóján a debreceni Belvárosi Közösségi Házban. Az idei, jubileumi Országos Ifjúsági Népi Kézműves Pályázat alkotásaiból nyílt kiállítás a Debreceni Művelődési Központban. A tárlaton köszöntő beszédet mondott Halász János, az EMMI kultúráért felelős államtitkára 2013. november 8-án. A november 8-án nyílt kiállításon háromszáz alkotás látható majd, többek között gyapjú és vászon szőtteseket, hímzéseket, csipkéket, bőrműves, nemezes, faműves, fazekas munkákat, fonható szálas anyagokat, tojáshímzéseket mutattak be. A kiállítás mellett több kísérőrendezvényt is lehet majd látogatni. Többek között lesz vándorlegény konferencia, kiállítás a Tímárházban, divatbemutató, hagyományos magyar ételeket kóstolhatnak az érdeklődők, s konferencián összegzik a pályázat idei és elmúlt húsz évének tapasztalatait. Az alkotásokból november 8-án, pénteken 11 órakor nyílt kiállítás a Debreceni Művelődési Központ Belvárosi Galériájában (Kossuth u. 1.).
