Would it bother you too much to tell me in half a page or so just a little about the ballads? I cannot understand a word of Dr. Ortutay’s introduction. He uses the cosmopolitan words, not the old Hungarian ones, and though I know what the roots of those words mean I do not know what the words denote. You are kind enough to use only the Old Hungarian words, which are in my dictionary, while the others are not.”
