SZINOPSZIS: Volt egyszer egy szegény ember, annak pedig egy lova, egy berbécse és egy disznója. Télen nem adott nekik enni, tavasszal pedig kicsapta őket az erdőre. Egyik tavasszal mennek ki az erdőbe, és sorra találkoznak a farkassal. Kikönyörgik, hogy csak ősszel egye meg őket, amikorra majd meghíznak. Azonban mindhárman túljárnak a farkas eszén és megszabadulnak. A végén pedig a farkast – saját tréfájának köszönhetően – fejszével agyonütik.

SYNOPSIS: Once upon a time a poor man lived who had a horse, a lamb and a pig. In winter he did not feed them, in spring he drove them into the woods. One spring the animals are going in the woods and meet the wolf. They beg the wolf to eat them only in autumn when they are fattened. They outwit the wolf and escape. In the end they strike the wolf dead with an axe thanks to the wolf’s fun.
