Az egykori budapesti Royal Nagyszálló halljának galériájának egyik részlete látható. Balra a földszintről felvezető széles íves lépcsősor, jobbra hátul az egyik lépcsőház látszik. A nagy méretű ablakfelületek a körútra nyíltak. Az előcsarnok átalakítása Janáky István tervei alapján történt, aki kiszélesítette és egy galériával ketté osztotta azt, külön választva a szállodai funkciókat fogadó és pihenő terekre.

The lobby was reconstructed according to the design of István Janáky, who widened it and divided it with a gallery, separating the hotel functions into reception and relaxation areas.
