A levelezőlap képes oldalán a Nagykörút és a Rákóczi út kereszteződése látható. A bal oldali saroképület földszintjén működött egykor az Emke kávéház. A mellette lévő ház aljában az Apolló Áruház kirakata látszik. A szemben lévő impozáns saroképületben működött a Pesti Hazai Első Takarékpénztár Egyesület Erzsébetvárosi Fiókpénztára. Az épület kupoláján egy Hermész szobor látható.

The postcard shows the intersection of the Grand Boulevard and Rákóczi Road. The Emke Café operated on the ground floor of the corner-building on the left side. The shop-window of the Apolló Department Store was on the ground-floor of the neighbouring house. The imposing corner-building across housed the Erzsébetváros Branch of the First National Savings Bank Association of Pest. A Hermes statue is visible on the dome of the building.
