According to the article published in Népszabadság in the summer of 2011, "The 21st Valley of Arts Festival opened on Friday in Kapolcs, in the Balaton Highlands. The thematical press material collection (of which this article is a part) was made within the frame of a press monitoring service on behalf of the Cultural and Nature Conservation Association of Kapolcs.

The Cultural and Nature Conservation Association of Kapolcs have been collecting articles and other materials related to the Valley of Arts Festival. Their material has grown by now into a collection consisting of thousands of documents. Most of them are about the Valley of Arts Festival, but there are press materials connected to either the settlements of the festival site or the performers of the events and sometimes to other cultural events as well.
