"Hajdúszoboszlói szekér", tulajdonképpen ekhós szekér két lóval. Az ekhós szekér nem más, mint négy álló rúdon domború tetőszerkezettel ellátott jármű, amelynek rácsozatára terítették fel az úgynevezett ekhót, kóbert vagy ernyőt (gyékényből font ponyvát), amely hátul leért a saroglyáig is, ha kellett, de szükség szerint félig felcsavarták. Az időjárás viszontagságai ellen nyújtott védelmet. A debreceni térségben a cívisgazdák többnyire a közlekedésnek ezt a módját választották. Az ekhós szekér elé általában három lovat fogtak be, de ahogy a képen is látszik nincs semmi sem kőbe vésve. Az évszám az eredeti képeslap kiadásának vélhető dátuma. "Cart of Hajdúszoboszló", actually a covered wagon with two horses. The covered wagon is a vehicle with a convex roof structure on four standing poles, on the rails of which the so-called tarp or umbrella (a tarp wattled of reedmace) was laid, which could reach down to the back of the rack if necessary, but was rolled up halfway if necessary. It provided protection against the weather. In the Debrecen area, the cívis farmers mostly chose this method of transport. Three horses were usually hitched in front of the cart, but as you can see in the picture, nothing is set in stone.
