A fotón, a Royal Szálló melletti fürdő egyik részlete látható. A fénykép alapján már nehéz elképzelni, de 1888-ban átadott fürdő a korszak legmodernebb létesítményei között volt. Kádfürdők, gőzfürdő, hullám- és zuhanyfürdő, elektromos fürdő, hidegvizes gyógyterem, pneumatikus kamra, valamint inhalálóterem is rendelkezésre állt a fürdővendégek részére, az akkor még csak körúti bejárattal rendelkező épületben. Később közvetlen átjáró épült a szálló vendégei számára, szintén az ő igényeiket volt hívatott kielégíteni az utóbb kialakított uszoda és a szauna is. The photo shows part of the baths next to the Royal Hotel. It's hard to imagine from the photo, but the baths, opened in 1888, were among the most modern facilities of the time. Tub baths, steam baths, wave and shower baths, an electric bath, a cold-water spa, a pneumatic chamber and an inhalation room were all available to bathers in a building that then had only one entrance from the Boulevard. Later, a direct passage was built for the guests of the hotel, and the swimming pool and sauna were also built to meet their needs.
