A művészet a valóságról szól, de az ember benső, személyes valóságáról és egyben tudati struktúráiról. A művészet a hierarchikusan felépített belső világ és a külső, tapasztalati világ konfrontációjából jön létre egy művészeti nyelv és az azt közvetítő anyagok lehetőségei szerint. A művészet útja csaknem az egyetlen, amely máig megőrizte eredendő szakrális funkcióját, s így a szembesítés - szembesülés és a katharzis lehetőségét jelenti és jelentheti ma is a számunkra”.
