M. Károly visszaemlékezése 1945 áprilisában kezdődik, Herschbruck táborának felszabadításakor. M.-kat 1944 decemberében adták át a német csapatoknak. Maruszov és Baltov községekben fordultak meg, miután elhagyták a tábort. A keretlegények felügyelete nem szűnt meg, árkot ásattak a foglyokkal. Kivégző osztagként tartották számon az ilyeneket. Ezután Osztroviecbe [Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Lengyelország] kerültek, az őrzés nem szűnt meg. Innen vagonírozták be őket, Péter Pál hadnagy irányítása alatt, a IV/I. századdal. Krakkó, Katowice, Hindenburg állomásokon keresztül Flossenburgba kerültek, a hadianyaggyárba vitték őket tovább. 800 főt teljesen megfosztottak mindenüktől, meztelenül sorakoztatták fel őket, rabruhát kaptak. Az itt eltöltött idő alatt M. egy nyilvános akasztásról számol be, hat embert végeztek ki, mert engedély nélkül az élelmiszerraktár felé lopakodtak, és a kápók elfogták őket, ez 1944. december 25-én történt. M. ezzel zárja a történtek elbeszélését. Tizenketten voltak, akik hazatértek.

The reminiscences of Károly M. started in April of 1945, at the liberation of Herschbruck camp. Molnár and his fellows were passed to Germans. They were in village Maruszov and Baltov when they left the camp. In spite the leaving, the supervision of guards didn’t cease, they obligated to prisoners to dig fosses. The prisoners know the groups such like this as a firing squad. Then they got to Ostrowiec [Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland], and now the guarding didn’t cease neither. Here they were entrained, by lead of lieutenant Pál Péter, with the coy IV/1. Through Krakow, Katowice and Hindenburg, finally they got to Flossenburg, to the munition factory. 800 person were totally deprived from all their values and clothes, they had to toe the line, they got prison uniforms. During this period M. writes about a public execution, twelve people were hang up because of their sin: they wanted to approach the food depository without permission. Capos caught them. This happened on 25th of December of 1944. M. closes his reminiscences. M. and his 11 fellows could return.
